Our Skill Centers

One must make the most out of life. This can only be done by learning and practicing. Skills become essential to gain success not for an individual but also for a healthy society. Thus the importance of evolving some skill training centers among the people was recognized by Ms. Pratiksha Tiwari who inaugurated the first skill center of MSS named UDAAN KAUSHAL VIKAS KENDRA . The policy of MERI SAKHI has brought very positive effects on the lives of people, especially women of rural areas who are taught and trained about various skills like stitching, sewing, weaving and Mehndi art. This promotes handicraft products which will help in raising consciousness about traditional crafts in India.
When Diwali was around the corner, we decided to make hampers of handmade candles. Promptly women were taught to make 4 different kinds of candles. Though this task was time consuming and the work load was quite high, but these talented hands managed to finish the work on time. The masterpieces were really appreciated and MSS got large scale orders of these candle from Lucknow and Gurgaon. This was a great achievement for MANDEEPDEEP SEWA SANSTHAN. Stalls of these candles were set up at Christ Church College Hazratganj, Lucknow. Students, their parents and teachers really appreciated the efforts of these women.
Besides this, many boys are taught about installing R.O water purifier by MSS under the guidance of experts. Some are being taught of solving basic issues related to mobiles and installing tempered glass screen protectors on smartphones.
Skill development is the only way we can put full stop on unemployment in order to make the youth more proficient.
